I have a 1000w phillips Home Theatre receiver with 5.1 speakers and want to hook it up to my computer for FULL surround sound (not stereo rca).
I also have a barracuda sound card and 780i motherboard that are both 7.1 compatible and a sambsung 26" hdmi monitor and a blueray drive by sony.
What connections would I need to make this happen so I can listen to blueray movies on these speakers?
