I’m 14 years old and in the 8th grade, it’s always been a goal of mine to have a career in Marine life and Animals.
I want to know what education do I need to work at a zoo or aquarium.
What kind of job do you want? It just depends. If you are just looking for a job during school, most likely you will need to apply for a volunteer position since you don’t even have a degree yet. When I had to do some volunteer work, I had to apply for their volunteer program and that included writing a short entry on why I am interested in working for the zoo, what are my hobbies, how do I plan to help, etc. And I had to do it a few weeks in advance, since it has to be reviewed and they get lots of them. Go look up what zoo you want to work for and get their application from them. Usually you can also let them know what time schedule works out best for you.
If you want to know about what kinds of degrees or programs you need for a certain feild, they all have their own requirements. Here are some of the areas of work you can get at a zoo: marketing/communications, Care Taker, Zookeeper, Mammal Keeper, Marine Animal Internships, Horticulture internships, vetrenarian, Diver Officer/Volunteer Diver Supervisor, HVAC Mechanic, Education Intern, Aquarist, Play Program Facilitator, Bird Programs, Animal Trainers, Medical Records/Animal Registrar.
There are a ton of jobs available at zoos since it takes so many people and programs to keep it running. A Zoo isn’t just a place to visit animals, there are many many things it does behind the scenes. Some places care for animals and send them back to their homes, some breed, some places protect them, do research studies, and zoos also provide services for other organizations such as marine life research and tagging.
So all of these are jobs that you could do and each has their own education standards like Marine Biology for the aquarium jobs, Botany for the plant-life and Horticulture, Engineering for the technician jobs, Inter-Personal Communications for the marketing jobs, etc. First decide what job you want, then see what education that career requires.

I’m interested in becoming a historical archaeologist. I’m having problems finding out all the education required. So what education is required and how many years? What jobs could I have while working on my Education?
Start with your BA. At that point you can do a internship. Then go for either your masters or PhD. You will need those higher degrees to advance in the field.

I want to be a sound engineer and work my way up to a recording engineer or a producer but I don’t know what type of education I need at 15 years old as I go through high school. What education do I need in general. I’ve read electrical engineering comes in handy, but I’m not sure.
there isn’t really any education that you NEED in the industry. the music industry is more about who you know than schooling.
that being said there are a lot of things you can learn that will help you along the way. knowing electronics is good because gear breaks, and being able to fix it, or at least understand it works. this also gives you the option to create your own stuff. i’ve known people that have created their own pre-amps, and microphones because they know what they’re doing. communications classes are good because being an engineer you have to be able to communicate with people. you will have artists and producers that will tell you that they want the guitar to be more "crunchy" or the hat needs more "shine". you have to be able to know what they mean when they say that. a lot of stuff like that just comes down to being familiar with a lot of different types of music, and how its recorded. business is always good especially now in recording. many engineers are losing jobs because of how easy it is to record at Home. knowing the business side you may help keep a studio alive, or start your own indpendent freelance studio.
like i said, education really doesn’t matter. you can pay thousands of dollars going to school and learning how to do the stuff, or you can research and do it yourself.
the most important things i would study as far as the actual engineering is the processing type sides of it. by this i mean learn how EQ, reverb, compression, delay, etc are and how it works. understanding how things like that work and the theory behind it will help you understand how to apply it on a session.
one thing that would be good to get used to (especially at your age) is to study the sounds of music. by this i basically mean, listen to a lot of music. but don’t just listen to it. you have to hear it and understand it. listen to the overall mix of the music. where is the guitar? is it panned to the left? right? if so, why? listen to music like it’s a picture. listen to all genres to understand how the snare sounds in a metal song compared to a pop or country song. listen to bands you don’t like and study the music. it sucks listening to crap, but it will help you learn more. this is highly important when it comes to mixing a record. some people think it’s just about turning up and down each instrument until it all sounds right. but there is soooooooo much more to it.
as a final note, i want to stress that it is very tough to make it in the music industry. engineering is the same situation. if you do study and get a degree, get something that will give you options of the music industry doesn’t work out. i would start recording stuff as soon as possible. if you can record a lot of stuff and get good at it by the time you graduate, you may be able to go get an internship at a studio without spending a lot of money for school.
good luck

How How long do you to be in school, what type of Education do you need to be family lawyer. I’m doing a research for school?
First you’d have to get a bachelor’s degree which is 4 years. Your major can be in a wide variety of subjects. Then you’d need to go to law school which is another three.

Obviously this is an extremely broad question, but i’m more interested in the general translation. If someone received a high school education in Mexico, would they be considered educated in America (or conversely). What are the focuses of Education in Mexico in comparison to America? Anything you want to add would be helpful as well. I’m looking at education for a cultural anthropology project.
The standards do vary by country and what is considered good in one country is not necessarily considered good in the other./

I am stuck between the 2 Careers so i am wondering i i get my RN degree and decide i want to be a teacher later how much more education do i need? bachelor of education? or do i have to complete an undergrad degree again then take the bachelor of education degree? i seen nurse educator degree but i think that’s for just working in universities and colleges that are training nurses right? or can you teach science to high school students with that as well?
The answer to your question depends on several factors. 1) The state in which you live as the rules for credentials vary by state 2) Do you have a BS or a BA in nursing or are you a nurse that does not require 4 years.
You might be able to just take a semester of education classes and student teach if you have a 4 year degree. Another option would be to become a school nurse.

Recently, the State Board of Education made national news for altering the K-12 textbook content and curriculum to reflect their ideological views. Texas education is ranked as low as 50th in effectiveness among the states. What should we do to improve the quality of K-12 education in Texas?
You guys should reverse the recent ruling of taking Jefferson out of Texan text books. That would be a good start. Also put a bit more effort into separation of church and state, that might get you Texans out of that situation.

I want to learn to trade stocks, do I need a certificate?
What is the best way to learn to trade stocks? Do I need a formal Education or can I do this on my own?
I am deciding on a college? If you think college is best, which degree program?
Simple- open up an account. You pay for each trade that you make too. Well, you have to pay in general. Scottrade or Ameritrade are servers that offer stock trading. You need money though to buy stocks, sell them, and short them (for me the MOST important and MOST difficult).
Don’t need a certificate. Go do it on your own, business school teaches you this stuff but I saw from my dad that he learned it on his own completely. Go to investopedia.com to learn about the vocabulary. For college, they don’t teach you ONLY this stuff. You have to take a lot of other courses so you can’t exactly focus on just stocks. Mutual funds and bonds are involved too. All of this is called "investing" lol.
Stock brokers might let you intern with them if you show them that you know something.

I am interested in perhaps working at a gym, or eventually starting my own. I do not want to sell fitness memberships, charging poor folks $800 for some premium package deal and lying to them about their fitness level. I really want to help people become healthy and happy. I don’t really want to teach group yoga or something. I want to help people on an individual level as a personal fitness trainer. What Education does it require and where would I be eligible to work? Please help. Thanks.

I’m interested in going into this department. What high school and college Education would I need in order to get a good well paying job in that department?
To get a job that pays well in the psychology department of a hospital, you would likely need an M.D. (work as a psychiatrist). You could work with patients as a master’s level therapist, but they do not make much money at the job ( don’t count on more than 35k-40k, and even that could be pushing it). With a bachelor’s degree in psychology, you could work in the department as a psych tech, but your pay would scarcely rival that of working at your local McDonald’s (sad, but true).

I’m working on a website project where people are able to express and put some arguments to support their own views of the modern Education system and their thoughts on public education along with alternative education. I’m just looking creating an attention grabbers such as pointing out good reasons to support and not to support forms of education trying to create an balance. What are some strong reasons to support public school in terms of the process of schooling?
How would public school help support the development of knowledge in the masses?
What are the social structure advantages?
Explain in details.
