I have a Sapphire HD4850 graphics and want to upgrade. Can anyone tell places in Bangalore where I can resell/exchange computer hardware?
There are many places in bangalore where you can exchange your hardware. but the price that you will get is questionable.
Try hardware shops on SP road in KR road. you will get an idea. you can also try the computer gallery stores near kaveri theater junction.

Hi everyone, okay I posted a question a while back about a computer repair business, but now I’m thinking about a computer hardware business.
Which means I have to find a warehouse to house all my stock and that’s my first question. How and where can I find a warehouse to house all my stock. My second question is who should I buy my stock from, I need to get my stock fairly cheap so I can sell it and make a profit.
Thanks for reading!
Just my 2 cents worth… You are going to be up against a lot of big competion if you want to go into the computer hardware business. Just do a quick search on Google to see who you would be up against. It could be really difficult to get high enough in the search results to get hits. Also Computer Hardware technology changes very quickly, so you could be left with a lot of old stock on your hands. If you really want to do this you might want to research "dropshipping". This is where another company provides the mechandise and warehouses it and you advertise and sell it for a comission/profit. Good Luck.

I’m on a budget that’s ranging around 800 dollars and I was wondering what kind of hardware components are most likely the best for my price range. Processor, video card, hard drive, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and also Im looking to build my computer with gaming purposes in mind.
$800 is well enough to get you a decent computer.
Processor: Intel Core i5-750 (~$200) Amazing performance given its price.
Motherboard: Any P55 type motherboard around $150. This will usually offer 2 PCIe x16 slots. I usually recommend Asus or Gigabyte.
RAM: 4 GB DDR3 for starters. 8 GB if you can find a cheap kit. (make sure to get Windows 7, 64 bit)
Graphics: Radeon 5770 (~$150-170). Great midrange card which outperforms most of nVidia’s similar tiered cards.
Case/PSU: Antec 300 + Corsair VX550 (~$120 together). I’d recommend both as they make great cases and PSUs, but this is really all aesthetics, so its your call.
Hard Drive/Optical: Once again, but a huge factor, but I’d recommend the western digital caviar black 500 GB and any Lite-ON/LG drive.
Note, this doesn’t include monitor/speakers, etc. If you need to include that into your $800 budget, then I would drop to an Core E8400 build, or AMD build (and a Radeon 5750 if you really need to shave more money off).

Where can I find top of the line Computer Hardware? I need a resource that I can compare and tell me what all that computer talk means! I am a big gamer so knowing what graphics card or what processor would best suit me.
CybertronPC Intel Gaming PC – Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Processor, Dual 10K RPM SATA 150GB Hard Drives, Dual ATI X1900X 512MB Video Cards, 4GB PC5400 DDR2 RAM, Intel BLKD975XBXLKR Motherboard
This Intel Core 2 Duo gaming system has super fast components and a processor that is primed to take on anything thrown at it. Costs around $3,400.00 U.S.D. Then I added 4 gig of faster ram and a 6 terrabyte external hdd for backup… link 1 has 34 types of gaming machine. link 2 has 16 please look at both sites so you can make a good informed choice. There is also a wide price range avail hope this helps!

Just in case the question isn’t clear…..
What is the difference between
Computer Engineering
Computer Hardware Engineering
and
Computer Software Engineering?
Computer Hardware engineering involve PC board timing delays, heat removal selection of microprocessors and their support chips. It involves the design of peripheral circuitry. Buss definition and memory. Getting the machine to work.
Computer software engineering assumes a working computer and is involved in the instructions that get the machine to do a specific task.

Hi my friend is having some basic Computer Hardware knowledge , recently he got an offer from one of his friend who is working in dubai to work as a hardware technician. He is a graduate and working in a BPO firm. Since he is the only person who takes care of his family and inorder to meet the needs of his family he has joined the BPO firm, but his career interest still lies with computer hardware industry. He is not able to decide whether to move to UAE or not with his basic hardware knowledge. Please advice.
Moving to UAE…Hmm…You better do hell lot of homework with this…as UAE has already hit the list of 25 expensive countries. And many people are running off from that place as the expenses has tripled and road tax. Traffic jams are total nuisance, be it Sharjah, Dubai and off lately Ajman. Abu Dhabi is still considered better than other rest cities in UAE. Not to forget the rent for studio flat is awesome and eats up your half salary, so people go for sharing accomodation. My personal suggestion look at the job scopes and the most important thing your salary (whether it could bear the expenses) and try to get accomodation near to ur work place, it will save you from traffic nuisances and your time. Off lately even the prices for cab has increased so bus is the best options and very soon metro will be coming up. I dont want to freak you up but please do good homework about going to UAE for work.

I have a very specific idea for a piece of Computer Hardware that I believe would be very useful. I do not have a prototype, nor do I even know how I would create such a prototype. I would be willing to join a company who manufactures this sort of hardware and work to realize its development. I would also be willing to exchange the rights to the idea for either employment, money, shares or licensing. I do not have a patent (in part because I do not have a prototype) and I have performed a cursory search to see if this concept has been created.
You do not need a prototype to patent your idea, my friend. Read the link below. I also inlcluded another link that tells you when you should or should not get a patent (to prevent you from getting scammed by "Patent Corporations.") from a Patent Corporation.
However I would recommend either applying yourself or hiring a lawyer.
The third link is to the FAQ of the US Government Patent Office. You would be applying for a Utility Patent, which is the one used for Machines and most other invention types.
The next link is a link to a form called Declaration For Utility Or Design Patent. This is the form you would fill out if you wanted to patent the idea yourself, they recommend getting a Patent Attorney, but I see no problem with doing it yourself as long as you study up on uspto.gov website a bit.
In that case you would use our fifth and final link, which is the one you fill out if you wish to patent with the assistance of a Patent Attorney.
Good luck.
EDITED POST – Also discovered a clear and concise page detailing who is eligible for what. http://www.uspto.gov/web/patents/howtopat.htm

Install a graphics card by determining whether the computer requires a PCI or PCI express card, lining up the appropriate card with the graphics card slot, sliding in the card and pushing it into place until it clicks. Install the drivers for a new graphics card with help from a computer specialist in this free video on Computer Hardware.
