From what i have study, the minimum education to be consider a computer hardware engineer is a bachelors. And that takes 4 years.

So think about it, your out of high school
and that totals up to 12 years.

Plus 4-5 more years in College.
So you do the math.

I live in Europe and I am often green with envy when people quote prices for Computer Hardware from Newegg or such.

Even after taking the higher Value-added-tax into account, the prices here are still on the order of 30-50 percent higher.

Arbitrage is supposed to take care of such discrepancy, why does it still exist ?

There are many places in bangalore where you can exchange your hardware. but the price that you will get is questionable.

Try hardware shops on SP road in KR road. you will get an idea. you can also try the computer gallery stores near kaveri theater junction.

Hi everyone, okay I posted a question a while back about a computer repair business, but now I’m thinking about a computer hardware business.
Which means I have to find a warehouse to house all my stock and that’s my first question. How and where can I find a warehouse to house all my stock. My second question is who should I buy my stock from, I need to get my stock fairly cheap so I can sell it and make a profit.

Just my 2 cents worth… You are going to be up against a lot of big competion if you want to go into the computer hardware Business. Just do a quick search on Google to see who you would be up against. It could be really difficult to get high enough in the search results to get hits. Also computer hardware technology changes very quickly, so you could be left with a lot of old stock on your hands. If you really want to do this you might want to research "dropshipping". This is where another company provides the mechandise and warehouses it and you advertise and sell it for a comission/profit. Good Luck.

I’m on a budget that’s ranging around 800 dollars and I was wondering what kind of hardware components are most likely the best for my price range. Processor, video card, hard drive, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and also Im looking to build my computer with gaming purposes in mind.

$800 is well enough to get you a decent computer.

Processor: Intel Core i5-750 (~$200) Amazing performance given its price.

Motherboard: Any P55 type motherboard around $150. This will usually offer 2 PCIe x16 slots. I usually recommend Asus or Gigabyte.

RAM: 4 GB DDR3 for starters. 8 GB if you can find a cheap kit. (make sure to get Windows 7, 64 bit)

Graphics: Radeon 5770 (~$150-170). Great midrange card which outperforms most of nVidia’s similar tiered cards.

Case/PSU: Antec 300 + Corsair VX550 (~$120 together). I’d recommend both as they make great cases and PSUs, but this is really all aesthetics, so its your call.

Hard Drive/Optical: Once again, but a huge factor, but I’d recommend the western digital caviar black 500 GB and any Lite-ON/LG drive.

Note, this doesn’t include monitor/speakers, etc. If you need to include that into your $800 budget, then I would drop to an Core E8400 build, or AMD build (and a Radeon 5750 if you really need to shave more money off).

Computer software engineering assumes a working computer and is involved in the instructions that get the machine to do a specific task.
