Careers in the medical field specifically involving bloodwork?

I’ve been searching and wondering, what type of Careers in the medical field besides phlebotomy can you go to school for to work specifically with the blood, such as evaluation, identifying, specific diseases which involve the blod, etc etc??

I live in arizona and to become a phlebotomist (minus the prerequisites) the actual course is only 9 months. I would like to work in this field but would not like to spend more then 2-3 years in college to advance into this type of medical field. Any information is helpful!!!

A 4-year program to a job working with blood and body fluids to diagnose diseases etc. would be a medical technology or clinical laboratory science.
There is also a 2-year program that is somewhat similar to this but with less responsibilities and less pay, which would be clinical laboratory technician I believe.
The general category of what you are interested is clinical laboratory science, and you will find the kind of program that you are looking for at an allied health school. I think what it’s called is Clinical Laboratory Technician. I’ve seen it abbreviated CLT/MT also.
http://www.allalliedhealthschools.com has a search feature to look for schools that offer the program that you want. Also you can try google, they could be missing some.

What are some careers in computer graphic design?

Also, if you know of any careers in communication technology, please let me know. I am trying to decide between these two majors. Please make sure you specify which careers are available for which major.

Graphic design offers you many jobs in the media.
You can edit images and photo’s for magazines and newspaper, and you can also do the layout for the paper and the magazine.
You can go freelance, and create cards, posters, flyer’s or adverts.
You can design CD and album covers.
Really, anything these days that has a picture on it, has a graphic designer, who designed it behind it.

What are some careers that I can work with money and numbers besides accounting and banking and entry level?

I really do love math and problem solving and like working with numbers. Just want to know what career options there are for people who love numbers and math, and not teaching. This would also be entry level since I’m not ready to go back to school at the moment. If these Careers require additional schooling, you can list those also. Thank you.

Real estate agency, its all about numbers!!

What psychology careers are there to choose from?

Ok, so here are my interests:
I like Psychology, but I don’t want to be anything like a psychologist. What other careers are there along the psychology lines that have a little less communication with people?
I also like dream psychology and forensics. So, if you know any careers that incorporate one of those, that would be helpful as well.

What do people think about a career as a careers guidance counsellor for young people?

I’m thinking about a career in Careers guidance counselling (in England) which I know now falls under the Connexions service. I was just wondering what people thought about it as a career. Is it rewarding? Having already worked in social services I am aware of the difficult people that you deal with but what I want to know do you feel as though you’re making a difference and is it worthwhile?

I have a son due to leave school in May. I worry every day about him getting off to a good start and finding a worthwhile job. He has a hip problem, he is not above average academically but he is loyal, honest and hardworking. I hope with all my heart that there is someone at Connexions who cares enough to help him make a start in life as an adult, particularly because I do not live in England so what I can do for him is very limited.

I am 55 and I still remember with appreciation what the youth employment service did to find work for me when I left school.

If you are the kind of person who gains satisfaction from playing a pivotal role in making a start in life for young adults then there can be few jobs more important.

What kind of specialist careers are there in foreign languages?

I am giving serious thought to a career switch from sales into languages which I had always loved to learn. But I haven’t really known what kind of Careers are out there other than using foreign languages to supplement a career and teaching. Which area of foreign anguage that is in real demand right now?

The FBI is always looking for Special Agents who can speak multiple languages. In the military it is a useful skill. You could be a translator for some dignitary or senator or some politician. You could be a language teacher in a high school or college. There are many jobs that you could do for languages.

Changing careers in Sims 3, do you have to start over from level 1?

I wish I started a different career path. The hours of my current one (Criminal) leave no room to hang out with the family. If I were to change Careers, would I have to restart from level one with low pay and work back up?

Blatantly, yes. As always.

I don’t personally like it. But that’s one thing the Sims franchise lacks: job interviews.

Eh, Sims 4 maybe?
